Tooling Developer (DevOps)

Location: Bethesda, MD

Only Locals..

 

Required Skills:

•         Working Knowledge of Source Code Version systems like GIT, SVN and Code branching/merging strategies.

•         Experience with ANY build automation tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Teamcity etc.

•         Good understanding on Linux and networking internals

•         Experience in developing and working in agile based software development

•         Experience authoring documents for technical and non-technical audience

•         Hands on prior experience with ANY bash/ksh/csh/sh, or PERL/PYTHON scripting.

•         Ability to code in Java. Good knowledge of J2EE framework

•         Good understanding of build dependency management tools like Maven, Gradle

•         Demonstrated experience in installing Tomcat and other software on a linux platform

Preferred Skills:

•         Prior work experience (even as user) with Atlassian tools like Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence or Bitbucket.

•         Prior work experience with static analysis tools, Junit or selenium grid

•         Experience in developing and working in agile based software development

•         Experience authoring documents for technical and non-technical audience
