Job Title: Infrastructure - Data Modeler III

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 4 months 1stMay to End August

Must be able to write SCALA codes in Spark frame work

Job Description:

Accountable for analyzing and developing complex logical database designs, logical data models and relational data definitions in support of corporate and customer information systems requirements. Understands the methodologies and technologies that depict the flow of data within and between technology systems and business functions/operations. Responsible for the identification and resolution of information flow, content issues and the transformation of business requirements into logical data models. This position identifies opportunities to reduce data redundancy, trends in data uses and single sources of data. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience. Typically has at least 6 years of IT work experience in data modeling, data analysis, relational DBMS design and support and relevant computing environments.

Minimum req: Bachelors degree in computer science

Position Comments:

Responsible for assisting EBI Data Science team or their clients in data engineering and supporting the development of analytical models using statistical, machine learning and data mining processes. Will assist in defining both data development tactics, and defining requirements for exploratory and ad hoc data analysis.

1. Writing Scala code to be run in Spark framework to process HSD, Wifi usage data

2. Writing Scala code to process Medallia, Loyalty data

3. Develop code to implement datascience models

4. Help in operationalization of spark jobs.
