Position: Sr. .NET Application Support Engineer

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 12+months

 

Responsibilities: 

This is not a new development position. This is strictly support and maintenance in a .NET and SQL Server 2008 environment. Please DO NOT send me people that don't read maintenance and support.

Resumes must show debugging skills in SQL Server backend….they use SQL Server 2008

Job Description:

The Sr. .NET Application Support Engineer will provide Full Stack Microsoft production support as a member of a team of senior object-oriented Developers/Engineers.

•            Assist in debugging .NET / MVC / SQL Server 2008 applications.

•            Debug and maintain application systems, programs, functions, services and other related software components in response to enterprise needs of moderate to high complexity.

•            Debug and maintain system, application and program code according to business and technical requirements.

•            Perform maintenance and  enhancement to existing applications.

Qualifications:

•            10+ years recent US company experience with production support, debugging, and maintenance of .NET applications.

•            Must have 4+ years of recent experience as  a Full Stack Microsoft Developer/Engineer.

•            Must have strong background in C#, ASP.NET, and SQL Server 2008 application environment.

•            Must have strong Microsoft SQL Server 2008 backend debugging skills.

•            Experience with MVC a plus.
