Job Title: Systems Engineer
Location: Washington, DC
Duration: 3 Months with potential extension.

Top Skills: the client would like to see certs such as MCSE (this is not required, but is preferred), if they do not have a certification must have 7 years of professional experience, hard requirements are as follows: group policy administration, SCCM or Big Fix, PowerShell,
***This will require a background check prior to starting. This will be a 10 year criminal background focusing on federal, state, and county. We will also be conducting an education verification and employment verification of their last 3 employers or 10 years into their past.
Primary Responsibilities:
Creating Baseline Golden Images
Responding to security and scan and compliance reports by hardening the operating system as designated following HIPAA guidelines
Developing functional process diagrams for Windows client/server services
Providing Windows administration support focusing on the design, implementation and maintenance of Windows client/server services
Developing comprehensive test cases to include testing scenarios for both normal and degraded (e.g., disaster recovery, continuity of operations, data recovery/spills, etc.) operations, pass/fail criteria, performance criteria, capacity planning, measurement criteria, results analysis procedures, and results/status reporting criteria
Supporting the installation of new Windows client/server services components, if required
Qualifications:
At least 5-7 years of experience
Bachelors in Computer Science highly preferred
MCSE 2008 highly preferred
At least 3 years' experience with a system management tool such as Big Fix or SCCM
PowerShell scripting
Group Policy Administration
MUST PASS Criminal Background check
