QA/Project Test Lead/Platform Coordinator

Buffalo NY

Contract-to-Hire, 3 Months

Only GC or US Citizen

Rate: $43.00/hr on W2

 

Scope of Position

Act as Project Test Lead and Platform Coordinator on enterprise strategic projects and major business projects as required.

 

Responsibilities

Coordinate Quality Assurance testing projects and activities for Domain specific Test Resources, Services, and Processes.

Coordinate intake of vendor releases and their propagation through development, test, certification, and production regions.

Release Management Environment Validation, Testing Environment Coordination, Run Triage Calls.

Work closely with project IT leads in developing test plans, strategies, resource estimates and scheduling, timelines, and overall responsibility for meeting test related project deliverables.

 

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree and relevant computer science / testing and platform coordination experience.

Minimum seven years' experience in web and mainframe software development life cycle methodologies, application technologies, and test processes.

Solid understanding of commercial Treasury Management web-based products is a must.

Experience in formalized release management processes required.

Ability to perform environment smoke testing for validation required.

Experience using multi-browser tools such as BrowserStack, defect trackers including HP ALM and TFS, and automation testing using Selenium is required.

Good understanding of System Development Life Cycle.

Strong understanding of Technology Application Architectures / Languages.

Preferred Skills

Experience in working with off-shore test team preferred.
