JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Overall, looking for a resource that has a passion for development and its associated technologies. 
  • Must have in-depth understanding of the technologies, their associated concepts, patterns as well as implementation experience. 
  • Fixing a bug once on a system that used a technology, does not make them an expert in that technology. 
  • The ideal candidate has a wide array of experience designing, developing and implementing solutions, using these technologies.  Looking for someone who can get up to speed quickly on technologies, design.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • C# .NET
  • ASP.NET
  • ASP.NET MVC
  • WPF
  • Web Services (SOA, Web API/WCF)
  • Winforms
  • Bootstrap
  • SQL Server (queries, stored procedures, etc.)
  • Continuous Integration (Build/Release/Deployment) Administration
  • Visual Studio Team System (VSTS) / Team Foundation Server (TFS) – Administration a plus
  • Functional Programming
  • Asynchronous Programming
  • Concurrent Programming
  • Client based development and deployment
  • Self-starter
  • Able to work individually as well as in a team environment
  • Proven history of quality solution design and delivery

 

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Visual Studio Team System (VSTS) / Team Foundation Server (TFS) – Administration a plus
  • Web Based application experience
  • Azure – Administration a plus
  • Git
  • Encryption (data in transit and at rest)
  • Text Encoding
  • Binary Encoding
  • Knowledge of cryptographic primitives
  • Teleric
  • Knockout
  • Agile Scrum
  • Jira
  • Slack
  • New Relic
  • Pingdom
  • POS .NET
  • Akka .NET
  • Third party software implementation/integration/support experience preferred
  • Application support experience preferred (at least Secondary or Tertiary)
  • Experience on critical, high visibility projects
