Job Description:
We are looking for a person to do 1 and 2 and 3. Will progress to 4.
Beginning Skills:
Clear paper jams
Confirm WSUS
Monitor Splunk
Watch alerts Veeam One - disk space etc.
Reboot servers as needed and as available
Daily - Nessus Scan resolutions
Keep Active Directory in sync - Users/Computers to physical
Monitor UPS Battery replacements
Inventory all network assets
Monitor Backups
Monthly touch of all desktops
Intermediate Skills:
Build Desktop machines
Build and configure servers
Use "best in class" MS procedures for all above
Monitor VM/Window performance – execute approved recommendations
Configure client software for users
Maintain all licenses and updates/patches as needed
VMware/Sophos/Veeam/Unitrends/MS SA/Autodesk/National Instruments architect appropriate file system/shares based on management demand and security requirements
Advanced Skills:
Build Physical VMware Hosts
Upgrade VM Hosts
Build Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Servers
Build KMS Servers for VDI
Add/Upgrade/Maintain network switches
Cisco Firesight understanding and maintenance
Cisco Umbrella understanding
SSL Certs - maintain
Advanced ++ Skills:
MS SQL DBA
Security Architect
