Job Title :Back-end Engineer

Vendor Pay Rate :60.00

Client   : Apex/Walmart.Com

 

Minimum Qualifications

- BS or MS in Computer Science (or equivalent industry experience)

- 3-5 years of backend engineering work experience

- Strong knowledge of Java and at least one scripting language, Python a plus

- Experience with Unix-like operating systems required

- Strong Experience with backend data processing and databases, both relational and NoSQL

- Experience with Hadoop, Hive and related big data systems is a plus

- Experience in building distributed/scalable systems is a plus- Good testing practices (unit, integration, system) with automation

 Strong Java 7/8 coding experience 

Strong Spring boot experience

Strong in Kafka and spark, and in memory cache like Redis/Memcache
Strong in NoSQL technologies like Cassandra
Familiar with Cloud deployment.
Understanding Unix/linux shell scripting.
Familiar with challenges of building large scale highly robust, low latency backend systems
Familiar with application performance management tools like NewRelic or AppDynamics.
Familiar with logging tools like LogStash or Splunk
Experience with automation testing frameworks like TestNg, Cucumber, Archillion
