Job description:

Competency Required: Functional testing with expertise in Securities and Capital Markets

Proficiency of Competency: Expert

Minimum Years of Experience: 7

·         Functional Tester is responsible to Indoctrinate and transition independent quality teams to the GQS Quality and Tools Playbooks and operating procedures and implement enterprise quality verification/validation best practices. Implement a repeatable onboarding lifecycle based on a gap analysis. Work closely with business units and the existing team to successfully implement common standards and practices in these disparate teams.

·         Position requires a strong background in application testing and a good understanding of leading IT technologies. The work requires a candidate to be competent in all aspects of the software development lifecycle.

·         Candidate will develop specific tests for each application encompassed in the full system the related integration of applications and user acceptance level Automation Test

·         Essential experience 7-9 years of hands on Functional/Automation Testing is a must

·         Expertise on Securities and Capital Market Domain is a plus

·         Knowledge on STLC, mix of Automation & Functional Testing Background is must

·         Expertise/Good Knowledge on Automation testing tool - UFT/Selenium

·         AGILE Project Experience, Participate in day-to-day agile team activities

·         Knowledge on tools IBM – Rational Team Concert and ALM/QC

·         Good Communication and Customer Facing Role expertise

·         Should be having a drive to learn and master Client in-house applications and process
