QA Analyst

 

GENERAL INFORMATION / JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Job Functions

 

QA Lead – AGILE Projects

• Core member of AGILE team.
• Direct the QA team in Test processes
• Establish Test environments
• Write test plans and test cases.
• Participate in daily scrums.
• Document test results.
• Work with end-users to improve user experience.
• Document use cases and closely interact with business systems analysts and other developers
• Identify risks in proposed project designs
• Research data conditions behind each test case.
• Assist with user training as needed.
• Understand IT processes and work within designated guidelines

 

Required Skills/Experience

• Experience in testing REST Web APIs
• Experience Testing in User facing application
• Experience within AGILE teams.
• Ability to write Test scripts
• Ability and willingness to take charge and lead tasks to completion is required.
• Experience in Automation testing
• Work within a team environment
• Experience with using tools like Team Foundation Servers
• Proficiency in SQL
• Basic understanding of database design and differences between types (e.g. DB2, SQL, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) is required.
