Job Description:
Full Stack Architect Experienced Technical and Architecture Consultant with 10 – 15 years of experience to provide consulting services on enterprise initiatives for our clients.
· The candidate will work with our clients to design and deliver complex custom projects with most optimum architectural approach.
· This candidate should apply Design Thinking in creating Modern, Lightweight and Enterprise-Ready Solutions and Architectures using the latest technologies to build advanced applications, enterprise ready Services/ Microservices platforms.
· The successful candidate will have holistic as well as deep development knowledge in various programming languages and environments, including the latest frameworks and patterns in SPA and microservices development. We are seeking the ability to think creatively, design solutions, and interact with executives.
· Working closely with our clients, this candidate will build and grow a strong client relationship to build and grow the pipeline and develop opportunities to consult. Past experience with a "Big 4" consulting firm is highly desirable. This is a highly visible and influential role at UST Global. Your work will impact both top line and operational effectiveness in some of the world's top brands. Superior written and oral communications skills are mandatory. Specific retail industry domain expertise are desired but not required. Candidate should be process-minded with a strict regard to detail. Required experience
· 10- 15 years' experience in the software industry • Bachelor's degree in a Computer discipline.
· 2 + years of experience working as architect (or an equivalent role) and 2+ years of experience in architecting full stack solutions • Proficiency in following development subject areas:- o Service Oriented Architecture o Business/Enterprise Architecture o Patterns and Design o Agile Development o Data/Information Architecture Component Based Development
· Strong implementation experience with "API first" approach
· 4+ years of experience in developing with Java (including Spring Boot) and JavaScript (including ES6)/Node.js/Typescript • 4+ years of experience in RESTful API design and implementation, including: o API documentation (Swagger/OAI, RAML) & API versioning o Data formats (JSON, XML) and data serialization (Protobuf, Thrift) • 2+ years of experience in monolith application decomposition and microservices architectures including: o Domain Driven Design (DDD) o Design patterns, such as Bulk Heading, Circuit Breaking, Back Pressure / Throttling, Fail-Fast, Non-Blocking, Separation of Concerns o Polyglot persistency, emphasis on NoSQL (e.g. Cassandra, MongoDB, HBase, etc.) and persistency patterns such as Event Sourcing and CQRS o Modern fast data streaming architectures and frameworks – such as Apache Spark/Streaming, Kafka/Streams, Flink, Beam
· 2+ years of experience in modern web and mobile SPA programming o Angular2/NativeScript and React/React-Native o User experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design, including Responsive design and grid frameworks (e.g. Bootstrap) o HTML5/CSS, and Knowledge of what works in specific browsers
· 2+ years of experience in modern DevOps workflows including: o Tools such as Git, Jira, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle o Containers, PaaS and CaaS – Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes, Mesosphere/DCOS, Docker Datacenter
· 2+ years of experience in agile methodologies desired , including: o SCRUM, Kanban, etc. o Agile delivery and testing – ATDD/BDD/TDD, Continuous Integration, continuous testing, pairing, automated testing
· Experience providing guidance to the delivery teams to detail out the Solution Architecture into implementable Technical Designs.
· Ability to understand a client's needs and collaborate with the client to develop technical approaches based on business imperatives
· Ability to build sound business and technical relationships with customers Become part of a set of professionals that assist clients in creating/acquiring new business processes
· Integrating IT with business operations
· Enhancing performance via structured analysis techniques • Improving IT management and controls • Process re-engineering
· Resolving conflict through workshops and facilitated sessions
