Title: Mainframe Developer

Location: Greenville, SC  29607

Expected Duration: 6 Months with extension or permanent depending on performance of the candidate and client needs

Description:

These are required for implementing a Perpetual Inventory System Application for a retail grocery environment.

 

Responsibilities (but not limited to)

Analysis of data or programs

Creations of Technical Design and detailed specifications

Migration of current data sources to new application

Coding of changes and/or creations of new interfaces or programs

System Documentation (visio, word, etc.)

Ability to work in a dynamic environment with remote team members (US and India)

Clear communicator

Creating endevor packages to move to code to production

Following Change management processes

Deliver Quality Product

 

Business:

Development and/or Support of the following business areas a plus

Finance Experience

Inventory Experience

Perpetual Inventory Experience

Retail Grocery Experience

 

Other:

MS Excel; MS Visio; MS Office

May need to work a special shift related to testing and/or implementation

 

Mainframe – Experienced Proven Work History in the following – Senior Developers.

Technical Skills (4 years minimum of proven work history in all the areas below)

COBOL; CICS; DB2; JCL; Control-M/D, etc

FTP/SFTP

Endevor (create packages to implement into production)

MQ Series - Mainframe

 

Other Skills:

Analysis of data or programs

Coding/Programming (Extremely Complex to Simple)

Creating or Changing Interface
