Position: Technical Architect - .Net
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Technical Skills:
1. Creating and promoting architectural initiatives, balancing long-term strategy with short-term customer needs.
2. Responsible for managing medium to highly complex projects, architecting new systems, establishing infrastructure standards/processes and ensuring teams adhere to standards
3. Review the internal standards, processes and procedures and keeping them up to date with the changing business/IT requirements and needs
4. Provide technical and architectural leadership across the Engineering team.
5. Resolve complex technical issues and drive innovations that improve system availability, resilience, and performance.
6. Strong technical skills in Net, C#, Data Pipeline in data factory, UI Visualization using Power BI is required.
7. Strong understanding of service-oriented architecture, microservices and system components including databases, data access methods, message queues, caching etc.
8. Design and implement next-generation web apps with a focus on user facing features
9. Knowledge of backend development, including data models, persistence layers, REST services as well as front end development in modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular
10. Industry experience in multiple technology stacks such as .NET, JS Frameworks, .Net Core
11. Experience developing for Azure, AWS or other major cloud providers is a plus
12. Broad automation experience in build, test, configuration and deployment in complex environments
13. Act as liaison with offshore software development team and supervise other development activities of other developers.
General business skills:
14. Develop software applications; translate the business requirements into quality code
15. Ensure that code is properly written, integrated, tested and verified with rest of the application according to global standard quality procedures and practices.
16. Execute and complete all tasks as per agreed project plan. Anticipate and catch deviations from a plan or schedule immediately when they arise and update all team members and stakeholders on time.
17. Experience in developing large and complex technology solutions.
18. Proven ability to complete projects and achieve results in a complex work environment.
19. Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills, positive thinking and willingness to learn.
20. Good time management skills and attention to detail.
21. Experience working with cross- geo teams
22. This role requires working in EST time zone - Being able to go to the Princeton office will be a plus.
