Role : BI Developer
Location : San Jose, CA
 
 
Detailed JD:
Experience in delivering Business Intelligence solutions - Mandatory
Preferably experienced in multiple BI aspects
Strong SQL skills in complex queries and data manipulation a must
Experience in developing ETL / building data pipelines with ETL tools or programming languages  - Mandatory
Experience in Pentaho a plus
Python programming, shell scripting, java scripting experience a plus
Owns data integration delivery tasks from development through support including: documenting data modeling / development approach, implementing code changes, testing, gathering approvals, migrating code, and support / enhancement of code post-production
Owns report/dashboard delivery (Tableau or any visualization tool) tasks from development through support including: documenting development approach, implementing code changes, testing, gathering approvals, migrating code, and support/enhancement of code post-production
Will provide support for new and existing data models, ETL pipelines and data marts owned by CorpBI including on-call support as required
Will create and maintain detailed documentation via Google Docs / Sheets / Slides for assigned design / development and testing tasks as prescribed by Corporate BI team
