Job Description :

 

Main Role and Responsibilities

·         Responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner.

·         Writes, edits, and debugs new computer programs for assigned projects, including necessary records and desired output.

·         Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.

·         Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports.

·         Review and repair legacy code.

·         Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems.

·         Review, to the extent possible, changes in code and the environment that will affect system performance.

·         Tests new programs to ensure that logic and syntax are correct, and that program results are accurate; assists lower-level programmers with programming assignments.

·         Responsible for the maintenance of the Development, Build and Deploy environment using the established IDE, build server and continuous integrations tools.

Qualifications and required knowledge

·         4+ years programming C++ applications for Linux.

·         Solid knowledge of Linux command line (bash) scripting.

·         Strong Knowledge of CMake build system.

·         Expertise working on Gtkmm.

·         Focus in test oriented design and test oriented development.

·         Experience in debugging C++ applications. Proficent user of gdb and valgrind.

·         Desirable experience on the toolchain.

·         Proficient multithreading application development.

·         Proficient usage of symmetric and asymmetric encryption algorithm, digital certificates, hashing and digital signatures in C++ applications.

·         Experience working with libusb to interact with custom devices or peripherals.

·         Experience interacting with thermal printers and cups.

Preferred Skills

·         Experience on programming localized applications.

·         Experience on programmatically working with devices such as: fingerprint reader and smartcard readers.

·         Knowledge of device driver development.

·         Experience working on library backporting.

·         Knowledge of computer architecture.

·         Knowledge of GNU build system (Autotools).

·         Knowledge of C99 and C++98/03 language standards.

Our Platform Team is passionate about helping developers build and deploy secure code faster and creates the tools developers need to inject security into DevOps and CI/CD. We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a role in the evolution of the team to a full DevOps model. This resource will be responsible for helping to further design and implement our CI/CD environment.

 

•        Monitor existing application and infrastructure while working to improve existing monitoring.

•        Communicate effectively with project stakeholders and management.

•        Develop and support processes to maintain uptime, SLAs and availability of critical platform components.

•        Share the responsibility of supporting the environment and product during off-hours.

Mandatory Skills:

•        Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Engineering or related/relevant field. Master's degree preferred.

•        Successful experience building out and supporting a Cloud production environment (Prefer AWS, but open to other public Cloud solutions).

•        Knowledge of cloud deployment tools and methodologies including Terraform (Packer, AWS CloudFormation are pluses).

•        Experience with more than one configuration management solution (i.e. Chef, Puppet, Ansible, AWS CodeDeploy).

•        Solid proficiency with Repository AND Pipeline related tools (GitLab, GIT - Jenkins, Bamboo, Travis, Circle CI).

•        Experience with the implementation and use of different Application and Infrastructure monitoring tools.

•        Proficiency in one or more programming languages. Python is preferred. PERL or Ruby is also possible.

•        Communicate effectively, written and verbal to a range of audiences.

•        Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

•        Must be a quick study and have great attention to detail.

•        Comprehensive debugging and troubleshooting skills

 

Good to Have:

•                    Experience designing infrastructure as code using and working in a secure development lifecycle.x

•                    Experience sharing the innovative work you do at conferences, meetups, etc.

•                    Experience with core systems like LDAP and NTP.

•                    Experience with AWS Configs
