Job Description :
| Main Role and Responsibilities · Responsible for planning, processing and performing all jobs in an efficient manner. · Writes, edits, and debugs new computer programs for assigned projects, including necessary records and desired output. · Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming. · Responding promptly and professionally to bug reports. · Review and repair legacy code. · Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems. · Review, to the extent possible, changes in code and the environment that will affect system performance. · Tests new programs to ensure that logic and syntax are correct, and that program results are accurate; assists lower-level programmers with programming assignments. · Responsible for the maintenance of the Development, Build and Deploy environment using the established IDE, build server and continuous integrations tools. Qualifications and required knowledge · 4+ years programming C++ applications for Linux. · Solid knowledge of Linux command line (bash) scripting. · Strong Knowledge of CMake build system. · Expertise working on Gtkmm. · Focus in test oriented design and test oriented development. · Experience in debugging C++ applications. Proficent user of gdb and valgrind. · Desirable experience on the toolchain. · Proficient multithreading application development. · Proficient usage of symmetric and asymmetric encryption algorithm, digital certificates, hashing and digital signatures in C++ applications. · Experience working with libusb to interact with custom devices or peripherals. · Experience interacting with thermal printers and cups. Preferred Skills · Experience on programming localized applications. · Experience on programmatically working with devices such as: fingerprint reader and smartcard readers. · Knowledge of device driver development. · Experience working on library backporting. · Knowledge of computer architecture. · Knowledge of GNU build system (Autotools). · Knowledge of C99 and C++98/03 language standards. | |||
