.NET Developer needed - PA

Job Title:      Senior .NET Developer

Length:         6 months plus (extension based on performance)

Location:      Newtown Square, PA

Rate:             Depends on experience level

 

Responsibilities:

·         Work independently and directly with business users to gather business requirements.

·         Work in a test driven development environment and directly with QA testers during the testing phase of the project.

·         Test, implement, maintain and support the applications in an Agile development environment.

 

Required Skills:

·         Minimum of 8+ years I.T. experience as an applications developer with the primary focus being .NET technologies.

·         Strong background and expertise in the current version of the Microsoft .NET framework and associated development tools and methods required, including Visual Studio 2008, .NET, C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, IIS and SQL.

·         Experience building ASP.NET Web Applications.

·         Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

·         Experience with Agile development (or similar) – working in an environment having constant meetings with developers, business analysts and QA testers.

·         Experience with test driven development, including the tool nUnit.

·         Very strong organizational, task management and prioritization skills.

·         Ability to display strong sense of urgency, especially when problems arise.

·         Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced, dynamic environment

·         Any experience with dotnetnuke is a plus

 

Note: Developers coming from smaller businesses and development environments are ideal.  Software releases are done monthly.
