SAP TECHNICAL LEAD -- TEXAS

Description:

 

Job Requirement: This is a "techno-functional" position for a candidate who has experience primarily with SAP but integration (and related development) experience with tying SAP with non-SAP systems in the areas of CRM, Project & Portfolio Management, etc. The vision is that this resource will be able to do both functional and technical development roles.

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

 Programmer/analyst to transform business requirements specifications into SAP functional solution

 Develop functional specifications document and work with development team on the technical solution

 Where needed develop integration code between SAP and integrating systems to fulfill the functional and technical requirements

 Develop and execute unit test plans to meet functional and technical requirements

 

Technical Requirements:

 

 3-5 years recent experience with SAP BAPI's, Functional Modules, API's

 3-5 years recent experience with J2EE java development

 Experience integrating SAP with 3rd party CRM applications (e.g. Sales Force.com)

 SAP ABAP development experience and solid SAP technical knowledge

 Experience in Time Reporting Functional domain

 Creation and management of transports, including log analysis and object analysis within the transport

 Experience drawing requirements out of the business process experts

 Experience in all project phases (blueprint, design, realization, testing, implementation, support)

 Experience in using Solution Manager for business process documentation

 Experience using Mercury Quality Center for testing (FUT, UAT, Regression)

 Strong verbal and written communication skills

 Work collaboratively and cross-functionally as part of a team as well as an independently

 Must be a good team player, detail oriented, resourceful, motivated and creative

 Provides timely and accurate status on job assignments

 Flexible, organized and able to handle competing priorities

 Recognizes areas of opportunity and make recommendations for improvement

 Identify issues to leads and/or management and provide possible solutions

 Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or computer science
