Our Harrisburg PA-based Client has a technology project supporting companies engaged in the Pennsylvania fracking technology industry called the Marcellus Shale. Fracking is a drilling technique that uses high-pressure mixture of water, sand and chemicals to break apart energy-rich rocks to extract gas. The Senior .NET Developer / SharePoint Developer will be part of the project team that designs, architects and develops .NET applications to support the receipt and disbursement of project funds.

The .NET Developer will build requirements to support the receipt and disbursement of the Marcellus Shale funds. You'll code and unit test ASP/VB.NET/C#.NET and SharePoint programs of medium complexity. In this role you'll interface with the end users and the project sponsors to gather requirements and analyze business processes. As a member of the system integration test team, you'll be called upon to fix bugs and run scripted tests.

 

SKILLS:

• MS .NET Development - 3 to 5 years

• SharePoint 2007 and /or 2010 experience (a must have)

• ASP.NET

• VB.NET / C#.NET

• .NET 3.5 / 4.0 Framework

• SQL Server 2005 / 2008

• Data Structures, Collections and Design Patterns

• SourceSafe ( a Microsoft source control software oriented to small software development projects)

• Use of Stored Procedures
