Job Description:
POSITION OBJECTIVE: Senior Analyst, Application position is expected to participate in short-term and long-term challenges/initiatives, and ability to work in cross functional team environment and independently on multiple initiatives. This position will analyze business requirements, design, develop, configure and implement solutions in SAP IS Retail System.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Participate in Projects, Enhancements and support related tasks specifically in the areas of SAP Master Data, Pricing & Promotions.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Cross Functional teams and business partners to understand business requirements to develop solutions or resolve challenging issues
• Write Business Requirement documents to document functional, development, data requirements, cross functional systems impacts & Role changes.
• Develop Functional specification documents for RICEF developments
• Convert Business requirements into Technology solution by SAP configurations
• Understand SAP ECC integration with SAP BI, WM, POS, Allocation and Planning systems
• Execute Data conversion in Master Data and pricing areas using LSMW Tools
• Develop testing scenarios based on business requirements and conditions
• Perform unit, Integration & regression testing and document the results in HP QC
• Participate in change control meetings to obtain approvals for implementing changes
• Analyze production issues, determine root causes and recommend long term resolution
• Provide Production on-call support and manage support requests on rotational basis
• Knowledge transfer and mentor Interns and Associate Analysts
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors' Degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
• 5+ years' experience in SAP configuration in either SD or MM module
• SAP IS Retail Implementation Experience in Master Data & Retail Pricing
• Knowledge of SAP IDOC processing
• Familiar with Retail business processes
• Advanced experience in gathering business requirements for IT projects.
• Advanced experience with software development processes.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Must have the ability to work in a fast pace environment and react to situations quickly
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment or in cross functional team
• Must be dependable, punctual, and reliable.
• Must be flexible and available to provide off-hours support.
