Number of positions: 3
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- ETL Development Expertise in relational database management concepts and data warehousing best practices and apply dimensional modeling experience and a background in general programming concepts.
• Responsible for the development of source-to-target mapping design specifications, data dictionaries, review database schemas.
• Develops and tests Extract, Transformation, and Loading (ETL) modules based on design specifications.
• Develops and tests ETL Mappings in IBM DataStage. Plans, tests, and deploys ETL mappings and database code as part of application build process across the enterprise.
- Understands the business processes and how the application supports the business processes and applies this knowledge to best solve problems.
- Understands configuration dependencies and interrelationships between data warehouse/business intelligence tools & designs, and troubleshoots in the area with this knowledge
- Day to day responsibilities can include, but is not limited to:
- Gathering requirements and Supporting users
- Develops functional specifications and works with technical resources to complete object development and testing
- Development and documentation of technical designs, including data models and ETL, Workflows and development in report designs
- Ability to coordinate with tech support team to support analytical reporting
- Shares knowledge to provide value across multiple groups
- Effectively communicate with team members and management
