Technical Skills & Competencies:

+ Strong programming expertise in Java, SQL and XML technologies.

+ Hands on experience in OOPS

+ Needs to be well versed in in multi-threaded programming and issues associated with garbage collection.

+ Should be comfortable with code optimization

+ Good understanding of web services, HTTP.

+ Hands on expertise with enterprise messaging such as JMS.

+ Experience with application servers like Jetty, JBoss or Tomcat

+ Experience with relational databases such as Oracle.

+ Exposure to LINUX and Shell scripting.

+ Should be able to do performance tuning on JVM and Oracle

+ Support production issues

+ Coordinate offshore development effort
