Job Description Oracle Apps DBA – Job Level 5

1.       Check/Monitor Integration of Oracle Applications with RAC databases.

2.       Cloning Oracle Applications E-Business suite.

3.       Patching Oracle Applications.

4.       Perform backup and recovery of Oracle databases using rman

5.       Monitor and support Multi-tier Oracle Applications environment.

6.       Database administration of Oracle E-Business suite

7.       Monitor concurrent programs/managers and issues related to the same.

8.       Monitor/rectify performance related issues.

9.       Application service bounce and server outages management.

10.   Support and troubleshooting of existing forms, reports and interfaces.

11.   Space monitoring.

 

Job Description Oracle Apps DBA – Job Level 6

1.       Evaluating system requirements for recommending growth plans

2.       Knowledge and experience in using AD utilities, AD administration and Autoconfig utilities

3.       Hands on experience of Administering Oracle ASM , RAC database issues

4.       Perform backup and recovery of Oracle databases using rman

5.       Perform general technical trouble shooting and do RCA.

6.       Experience in code migration, database change management and data management through various stages of development life cycle

7.       Co-ordination with Infrastructure team for various issues and monitoring of system resources

8.       Raising SR with Oracle and implementing solutions.

9.       Hands on experience on Ebiz Life cycle and maintenance tools along with health check of the instance using OEM.

10.   Automation of various monitoring scripts for DB and Applications.

11.   24X7 support for P1 issues.
