Job Title -  Network Engineer
Location -  NY,NJ,TX
Duration -  6  - 12 Months (Possible Extension)
Rate - DOE

Job Description -

6+ years Cisco network design, implementation and integration experience required.

Solid working knowledge of Checkpoint and Nokia security hardware and software, managed by Provider-1.  Tufin experience a plus.

CCSA, CCSE certification or equivalent experience required

In depth understanding of Telecommunication and TCP/IP theory, Cabling, LAN/WAN design/configuration, DNS, and other network systems.  Ability to use network analysis systems and tools.

Eight or more years of experience in the following areas:  TCP/IP, T1, T3, frame-relay, ATM, ISDN, DNS, DHCP, RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, HSRP/VRRP and BGP.  Configuration experience with Cisco 7XXX Series routers, 6XXX switches, ASA and Pix Firewalls, Checkpoint firewalls as well as other vendor network equipment.

Experience with F5 Big IP is a plus.

Experience with Radware Load Balancer or similar is a strong plus.

Demonstrated basic familiarity with Unix, VMWare and client-server systems architectures.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented, business driven environment.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, with a high level initiative.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Support role. Financial Services or related industry preferred.

Familiarity with Oracle Virtual Networking (Xsigo) is a plus.
