Job: Informatica Developer ( Health Care Experience required )
Location: Tacoma, WA
Duration: 8+ month contract.

Candidate must have 10-+ years experience.

Works with project stakeholders to determine the requirements for ETL data movement requests for a wide variety of systems (OLTP, Data Warehouses,
ODS) and platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Informix, XML, HL7, flat files)
Designs, develops and implements Informatica PowerCenter Informatica ETL jobs based on source-to-target specifications
Performs monitoring and tuning of Informatica PowerCenter
Performs monitoring and tuning of custom ETL jobs written in SQL, PL/SQL and Unix shell scripts
Supports Informatica Metadata Manager implementation for enterprise-wide metadata
Implements Data quality solutions for Informatica PowerCenter mappings
Adheres to established dynamic error control/logging/error handling ETL framework

Experience required:
Informatica PowerCenter 7.x, 8.x experience 5+ years is a must
Extensive experience working with Oracle DBs is required
Experience working with SQL Server DBs is required
Previous experience in developing and maintaining complex large-scale batch interfaces and ETL  processes across transactional and/or data warehousing systems is required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask between multiple projects
Experience working with source system owners and project stakeholders to define ETL requirements
Proficiency in Unix shell scripting
Proficiency in  PL/SQL programming
Experience with Data Quality tools and methodologies
Experience with Enterprise Metadata Management
Experience with  Informatica PowerCenter options (Partitioning, UDO, PowerAnalyzer, IMM, IDQ, IDE, etc)
Experience in  Healthcare industry is a plus
B.S required or equivalent experience is required

Must have a proven record of fast and accurate development of Informatica ETL – 3 years minimum
Must have strong SQL skills – can quickly decompose complex SQL statements into Informatica mapping and workflow specifications.
Should have Access and Oracle skills – specifically setting up and debugging sessions between environments
Should be familiar with StarTeam configuration management
Should be familiar with the SDLC methodology
Nice to have VB, Excel Macro, Active Batch and SharePoint skills
Nice to be familiar with ServiceNow service management
