Position Description:
COBOL programmer/analyst to provide analysis, design, development, until testing, validation testing, documentation, implementation and post-implementation support, as assigned, in an IBM mainframe environment.
Skills Requirements:
Specific skills must include:
11+ years of strong COBOL development and maintenance experience
11+ years experience coding OS/JCL jobstreams
8+ years of strong CICS development and maintenance experience
5+ yrs VSAM
8+ yrs DB2; Strong experience with advanced DB2 concepts (e.g. nested expressions and DTT)
Strong experience working with DB2 utilities
Desired skills include:
Experience with Endevor, FileAid, and Xpediter
Visio (proficient)
Ability to read, analyze, comprehend ALC would be a plus
Education:
BS pluys 11 years of experience
