Title: BI Lead with AZURE/Architect Location: ST. Paul, MN Duration: 6+ Months Contract - Hire

 

Technical Lead Roles and Responsibilities:

1)           Own the technical delivery of multiple data analytics projects

2)           Identify roadblocks during the execution of the projects and solutions to address the roadblocks.

3)           Work with the Enterprise Data Office Architecture team to understand the architecture and development guidelines and principles

4)           Ensure that all the architecture and development guidelines and principles are followed by the project teams.

5)           Build High Level and Low Level design document for the projects.

6)           Work with the deployment/release team for releasing applications to production.

7)           Identify solutions to issues faced by the technical development team as well as application issues

8)           Contribute in building the guidelines and principles by providing inputs to the architecture and governance teams

9)           Present technical solutions and design document to architecture/governance teams and executive leadership team.

10)         Identify reusable components and build them so that they can be reused by other projects. Also understand existing reusable components and leverage them for the projects undertaken.

 

Technical Skills:

1)           Overall 10+ years' experience in BI Field

2)           Having 3+ years of experience on cloud Datawarehouse +  implementation experience.

3)           Worked on Modern Cloud Datawarehouse Architecture (Data Lake + Data warehouse).

4)           Having strong experience on Azure Data lake and file system

5)           Having 1-2 years of experience on Snowflake or Azure Datawarehouse.

6)           3-5 years working experience with ADF (ETL) and Azure Databricks

7)           Should have Experience on Data Modeling / Data warehouse methodology.

8)           Microsoft Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint, Word
