Job Description - Data EngineerAs a member of the Logistics Analytics and Data Science team, the candidate is responsible for peparing data pipelines and capturing and storing the metadata for preparing data dictionary. The candidate will need to have stong data extraction, data transformation and data loding and other data manipulating skillsObjective:Create data pipelines to convert manul data flow logic and automateWork with structured and un-structed data and prepare data analysisPrepare Data dictonary to capture the data catalog, lineage and metadata and store for end user training and referenceCreate end-to-end data process which support data pipeline, transformation, storage and validationSkills and QualificationBachelor’s Degree in computer science or similar disciplines5 years experience data engineer or ETL and database developmentStrong SQL knowledge and programming knowledge of data automation using Python or other launguagesExperience with ETL/ELT tools like Alteryx, Talend, Tableau Prep or similarExperience capturing and storing metadata and preparing data dictornaryExperience with Oracle, MySQL or other database technologiesExperience with Data visualizationPreferred certification in the related areas
