Job Description:
Installation, configuration and upgrading of SQL server software and related products
Evaluate SQL server features related products
Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures
Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)
Build solutions on Azure cloud using modern technologies like Azure Data factory, Azure data bricks and Azure Synapse
Perform database tuning and performance monitoring
Perform application tuning and performance monitoring
Setup and maintain documentation and standards
Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)
Perform general technical trouble shooting and give consultation to development teams
Interface with Microsoft for technical support.
Patch Management
Version Control and DevOps exposure.
Participate in off hour and weekend support – 24x7 support
Overlap for a few hours of work with US team is needed
