Role - Network Consultant (Quality/Testing)

Location - Middletown NJ

Duration - 12 months (+)

 

 

Job Description:
Contractor will be responsible for creating a testbed including switches and routers (Cisco mainly) or other devices as needed to test features for the Managed AVPN portfolio or perform custom feature testing for a client. CCIE certification/knowledge level is highly preferred. Expertise with routers, MPLS, and use of test equipment (Spirent) is a must. Very strong communications skills (written and verbal) required. Contractor will produce very technical documentation to use by engineers in the field and provide training and Tier IV support when needed. No traveling required.

 

Skill Experience Need
1) Cisco Routers - routing protocols Expert Required
2) Cisco routers - MPLS Expert Required
3) Hands-on testing skills with Cisco routers Expert Required
4) Spirent testing equipment Expert Required
5) IPV6 knowledge Intermediate Desired
6) Server knowledge Intermediate Desired
7) IPSec knowledge Expert Desired
8) CCIE level knowledge or certification Expert Desired
