Visual Basic 6 (VB6) programmers with Oracle database experience
12 month contract
Lansing, Michigan
Rate : Competitive
This developer/programmer/analyst must have the following experience, skills, and expertise:
· Work as a member of a team comprised of other programmer/analysts and user analysts.
· 2 years experience with design computer automation solutions to create/modify systems that will efficiently respond to the entities, tasks and processes defined during the analysis phase.
· Write computer code using the most appropriate language for the application, working from approved specifications.
· 2 years experience with test and debug computer code using different techniques based on system complexity.
· 2 years experience with develop/modify documentation to accurately define system capabilities/uses.
· Attend meetings for purposes of system development and/or maintenance.
A. Any specific regulations, requirements or expertise applicable, including specific background/security checks required.
All prospective contractors will be required to pass background and security clearance prior to the start date of this contract.
· Must have 3 years recent experience coding in Visual Basic 6
· Must have 3 years recent experience using Oracle databases
· Must have 3 years recent experience coding with SQL and PL/SQL
· Must have a proven track record of delivering code in required project timeframes
· Preferred experience with Business Objects and/or Crystal Reports
B. Agency technical environment for the work
The application is Client Server written in Visual Basic 6 communicating with an Oracle database using Pl/SQL. Reports are written in MS-Word from the application. The operating system is Windows XP. There are reports from the States Data Warehouse written in Business Objects.
C. Description of the requested work, including deliverables and knowledge transfer
These positions will work as part of a team. The employees work with established methods, practices, procedures, and policies based on written or oral instruction. Ability to function well in both team and independent work environment. Ability to learn and apply complex languages and programs. Interpersonal skills and good oral/written communication. Highly desirable development skills/languages: Visual Basic, Oracle, SQL,

We need a SMTP expert for a 6 mths project in Omaha, NE
SMTP/email Expert - Should know C#, VB6. They need to help with MCN R30's enhancements to email delivery channel.
DKIM support, improved handling of email bouncebacks, thorough understanding of SMTP protocol, response codes, internet
Position 3:
We need a Unix/Linux admin for a 6 mths project in Omaha, NE
An individual should be good in Linux/Windows/"Script Kiddie"/PHP/Shell Scriptor/SQL. Will focus on monitoring jobs, operational tools, problem identification - across all the systems
