Duration: 6+ months
Description:
- Analyzes, develops, tests, and implements mainframe code based on business/technical specifications and development standards.
- Analyzes, develops and modifies mainframe programs equipped with an understanding of the general business unit functions, technical skills, tools, training, and business requirements documented by the Business Analysts.
- Complete unit testing of programs.
- Participates with QA Analysts, Business Analysts, and business units in resolving issues found during system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Assists associates with system functionality, programming advice, and testing techniques.
Must Have Skills
- 5+ years experience with the following technologies:
- COBOL
- CICS
- VSAM
- DB2
- JCL
- SQL
- TSO/ISPF
- MVS
- Mainframe Version Control Software
- MS Word
- MS Excel
- MS Visio
Nice to have skills
- MQ Series
- MQ FTE
- DB2 Stored Procedures
- IBM RAA
