We have a new requirement from our client. This is a Right to Hire position. If they find a suitable person, and he fits in well into the project they will offer a full time position.

Java 5 Developer with Linux, DB2, ESB, SOA, jBPM, Spring, Hibernate, Maven (Right-to-Hire)

 

Location:             Jersey City, NJ
Duration:             6-9 months, then fulltime hire based on performance

 

Our client needs a Java developer to help them enhance and maintain a new product.  The consultant will work closely with the tech lead to learn the product.  If the consultant works out they plan to offer him/her a position to continue to support and enhance it.  The application is built on an ESB and workflow engine to enable customers to quickly define customized sets of business logic to access data. 

 

• Strong competency with Java 5 or later is a must
• Ability to navigate the Linux platform is a must, preferably with z/Linux
• Ability to troubleshoot / debug in Java environment is a must
• Competency in SQL is a must, preferably against DB2
• Good communication skills are a must. 
• Familiarity with Eclipse IDE, preferably JBoss Developer Studio
• SOA experience, with JBoss ESB and/or JBoss SOA-P
• Working knowledge of BPM with jBPM (preferably v3)
• Working knowledge of JBoss Application Server
• Familiarity with Spring Framework
• Familiarity with Maven
• Familiarity with Subversion
• Familiarity with JMS/MQ
• Familiarity with Hibernate
• Familiarity with JUnit
• Knowledge of the following is a plus:
• Unit Test Mocking framework (i.e.: Mockito, EasyMock, etc.)
• Atlassian tools (i.e.: Crucible & JIRA)
