.NET Application Developer

Location: Broomfield, CO

Position Duration: 6 month + contract

Openings: 1

 

Start: ASAP

 

·         Will be part of a software team focused on working closely with clients and other stakeholders to produce high quality workflow solutions.

·         The person in this role will provide business personnel with the ability to query, display, and analyze corporate workflow processes.

·         This position will be required to apply sound solutions framed within the context of enterprise software principles in support of a wide variety of corporate functions and products.

·         Candidate will be responsible for solving a wide array of workflow related business problems through skills as described below.

·         Under general supervision, the BPMS .Net Application Developer will be responsible for the development, unit testing, and deployment of user interface (UI) solutions and enhancement implementations within our BPMPortal application as specified by System Analyst and Lead .NET Developer roles.

·         Additionally, the developer may be requested to assist in problem investigation, analysis, and resolution of newly identified defects.

·         The individual will be responsible for .NET software development within the existing application and work with the entire application team to ensure development conforms to performance optimization and interoperability standards and requirements.

·         The individual shoule be a fast learner and self trainer.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

 

·         4+ years of relevant work experience developing ASP.NET/C# solutions or an equivalent combination of training and experience

·         BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field is required

·         Extensive experience with DHTML and multiple AJAX Frameworks including ASP.NET AJAX, Prototype, JSON, JQuery, AJAX Control Toolkit, etc

·         Practices simplified, standards-compliant, CSS-driven web mark-up

·         Strong knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues

·         Has strong consistent experience writing custom ASP.NET Server Controls

·         Strong understanding and experience in Object Oriented Design and Patterns

·         Experience in Test Driven Development

·         Experience in creation and execution of automated test suites using NUnit

·         Knowledge and experience using Microsoft's Enterprise Library

·         Experience with SOAP web services implementation using WCF

·         Strong knowledge of UML and use cases

·         Demonstrated strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills

·         Ability to adapt to continually-changing priorities and aggressive project timeframes and work on fast-paced, complex projects

·         Strong problem-solving skills

·         Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously while effectively managing schedule and communicating progress

·         Experience with office automation tools (e.g. PowerPoint, Word), analysis modeling tools (e.g. Visio, ERwin, Rose, UML), and data analysis tools (e.g. TOAD, DBVisualizer)

·         Confident in writing SQL

·         Proven ability to work in a team setting

 

PREFERRED CHARACTERISTICS:

 

·         B.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science or a related discipline

·         Experience with telecommunications domain and broad knowledge of concepts, systems, and equipment used in modern telecommunications networks

·         3+ years experience in medium to large application development initiatives/projects

·         Experience with Tibco Enterprise Service Bus a plus

·         Proven experience developing and delivering software in corporate contexts

·         2+ years SQL experience

·         Rational Clearcase experience a plus

·         SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) a plus

·         Experience with Savvion's Business Process Management (BPM) suite of products (Modeler, Studio, Server) a plus

·         Ability to provide leadership to project team

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

·         Collaborates and assists development team in designing and implementing UI enhancements

·         Utilize software requirements and software design artifacts to implement .NET code solutions

·         Works with development teams and systems analysts on code solutions to meet the requested functionality
