Project Manager
Raleigh, NC
12 months Contract
Rate: DOE
Required skills and abilities:
· Minimum of (5) five years of extensive hands-on experience with project management as the project manager with full accountability and financial responsibility
· Experience working with and preparing project documentation such as detailed requirements
· Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with clients, management, end users and project team members
· Ability to manage vendors
· Ability to interact effectively with technical personnel and with a wide variety of technical resources
· Ability to translate and communicate technical concepts, information, plans, and procedures to both technical personnel and non-IT business users
· Excellent written and oral communications
· Strong conflict resolution and negotiation skills
· Possess knowledge and demonstrated ability to conduct detailed planning, and to perform risk assessments and their associated risk mitigation actions
· Knowledge of the related IT standards and software (i.e., Microsoft Office -Excel, Word, PowerPoint, project management tools)
· Minimum of (5) five years of IT experience in one or more technical roles
· Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
· Demonstrated experience developing procurement documents
