Specifically, the opportunity that I would like to discuss with you is for "SAP MAP Tester - Seattle, WA"
Client stressed that they would like someone with Retail and/or Merchandising Industry Experience.
The candidate will be responsible for testing the Financial Planning element of the MAP module within SAP We will not be implementing the Assortment Planning portion of MAP at this time for this particular project, but will occur at a later juncture.. It is desirable for the candidate to have experience with the Financial Planning element of the MAP module.
The key areas of testing within Financial Planning, include 6 business processes for which layouts and reports will be created for:
- Strategic Planning
- Merchandise Planning
- Line of Business (Location) Planning
- Reconciliation Planning
- Open to Buy
- Administrative Planning.
SAP Background/Knowledge
It is also desirable for the candidate to have background on our current core processes in SAP, including the following:
- Retail Pricing
- POSDM
- Inventory Management (IM)
- Demand Driven Procurement (DDP)
- Finance (FI)
- FI Master Data
- Merchandising Master Data
- Business Warehouse (BW)
Our SAP system, ECC6.0.
Creation/Execution Skills
The candidate should be familiar with utilizing Quality Center (QC) and implementing the following:
- Developing Test Strategy and Plan
- Organizing Test Schedules and Test Deliverables
- Managing the Testing Process and developing new processes that are required to support software delivery dates
- Interfacing with Project Managers, SAP personnel, Developers and others on the project
- Writing and editing Test Cases
- Generating End to End Test Cases
- Generating and managing defects
