Required qualifications:
*Bachelor�s Degree in Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A Master�s or higher is preferable. Strong work experience in related fields will be considered in lieu of formal education.
*Solid working knowledge of relevant programming languages, including C, C++, and Java, as well as Windows operating systems and Windows/GUI programming. Experience in scientific computation is very desirable. Experience in parallel computing, SQL databases, real-time programming, communications, CORBA or distributed systems is a plus.
*At least 6 years experience in object-oriented design and development in an industrial or commercial environment. A PhD graduate may also be considered. Experience developing medical software is a plus.
*Excellent problem solving skills.
*Good verbal and written communications skills.
*Good computer skills, including the use of standard office software programs including spreadsheet, word-processing, and email applications.
*Familiarity with the use of software engineering tools such as version control and defect tracking systems
