Job Title:   Configuration Release Management Lead

Location:      Somerset,NJ

Duration:      6 Months Contract To Hire

 

Project Overview:

Travel required to Pittsburgh a minimum of 4 days per week.  Possible travel to other locations within USA

•       Pharmacy benefit management (PBM), Pharmacy retail domain

•       Client is pursuing strategic initiatives over the next 2 years to enhance and expand its business. A blended team of GalaxE and Client resources will review and analyze various applications. The team will be responsible for recommendation, design and construction of refactored services platform.

•       The strategic platform is be SOA based

•       This system will gather data from various sources such as legacy applications via legacy connectors and serve them via SOA services

•       Current Project Duration: Feb 2010 – Dec 2010

 

Responsibilities:

•       Interfaces with various third party within clients enviornment to make sure the release is successful

•       Adheres to release management best practice methodology

•       Develops a consistent release management process.

•       Derives automation strategy for release management

•       Ensures the documentations meet client standards for post production support.

•       Develops and executes post production release strategy working closely with development leads and architects,

•       Ensures product delivered meets the guidelines put in by Development manager from integration perspective

•       Works closely with BA's, Legacy team in making sure that delivered product meets functional requirements, SLA's and NFR's.

•       Conducts code reviews.

•       Maintains a tight communication between the development partners through out the project life cycle. 

 

Qualifications:

•       5-7 years experience in same or similar position

•        Must have solid experinece using Serena Dimensions

•       Platforms:

o      Strong Experience (Primary platform) in AIX

o      Some experience in Windows

•       Other skills:  

o      WebSphere - Working Experience

o      MQ -Some Experience

o      Documentum - Some Experience

o      Release Mgt tools - Strong Experience
