Job Title:    QA Test Lead

Location:      Pittsburg,PA

Duration:      6 Months Contract To Hire

 

Required Skills (Technology, Years of Experience)

•       Should have 7 year (only) experience in QA domain out of which 5 year experience in testing large Web Application.

•       to do testing independently with Defect tracking system clear quest.

•       Perform manual and automated functional tests as well as large-scale system tests

•       Familiar with any one of the programming language like Java / C++

•       to write SQL queries and familiar with data base like DB2, Oracle

•       Hands on experience in Unix and window environment

•       Familiar with tools like QTP, Selenium etc. (Nice to have)

 

Desired Skills

•       Able to quickly evaluate Level of Effort, complexity and risk involved in adding a scope item for large scale application testing

•       Develop QA Plan, test strategies & Estimate for a large scale web application.

•       Review test cases with associated test data for Web application

•       Plan, set-up and drive the QA framework for the SDLC.

•       Ability to innovate and integrate the QA/Testing lifecycle with the SDLC and architect QA solutions and tools to mitigate risks and issues for the SDLC.

•       Articulate scope to the team and facilitate test case design.

•       Able to create and set up test data.

•       Develop status reporting for the clients.

•       Prioritizes tasks and operates effectively in an unstructured or ambiguous environment

•       Effectively translates business-focused goals and objectives into specific plans

•       Ensures that risks are identified by team members, escalated to QA Manager

•       Encourages QA team members to use Best Practice / CMMi processes

•       Understands the client's priorities, objectives, and constraints

•       Able to define and articulate the value of each phases of the Testing on a project to clients and team.

•       Generates desired response from readers through written communication
