Job Description:

Senior Infrastructure/Production Environment Manager needed to support our Transaction Processing Engine (TPE), Excalibur and Trade Capture applications. This role entails being a key contributor to overall Estate management (Servers and Storage), manage application environments (both production and QA), production support and hands-on application builds and releases:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with UNIX (Solaris and LINUX) perl, shell programming, UNIX commands; knowledge of Java processes and Autosys job scheduling
• 5+ years of experience with configuration management, Subversion, Clearcase source control systems, JIRA and ANT scripts
• 5+ years of Hands-on experience with SQL databases (Sybase and Oracle) and SQL scripts
• 5+ years of experience with production releases - Autosys jobs, database (Oracle and Sybase) and Java/PERL deployments
• 5+ years working knowledge of Unix groups, net groups, power broker roles, network security; scp; sftp
• Automate Build/Release process, deploy software into QA/UAT/Production environments
• Lead production support activities, support QA team with infrastructure/environment related issues
• Experience with Enterprise Messaging Servers

• Experience with Capacity planning, identify opportunities to consolidate/decommission servers, databases and storage and lower over all Total Cost of Ownership
• Some weekday late evening and weekend support required to work with global teams (APAC/London) or any production related issues or releases
• Plan & support Infrastructure weekends, Application BCP tests
• Participate in Application Audit process
• Good communication and leadership skills. Can work independently and as a part of a team

****Clearcase and Subversion (SVN) is MANDATORY.
