- Business System Analyst Requirements
a. This position requires a strong, energetic personality to analyze and/or lead only; does not code. This individual will assist the project leader in leading business systems analyst/programmers in the design, development, implementation and maintenance of large or complex business information systems. This position requires strong requirements-gathering experience. Requirements gathering and analysis will be the main focus of this position. but it is also required to have strong testing experience and be able to work in a flexible environment providing strong skills where directed by the client.

| Verifying and validating development efforts. Testing of system enhancements, new functionality, interface testing and ensuring service delivery meets or exceeds the customer expectations. | 9 |
| System testing (which includes both functional, Back End testing and ad-hoc testing). | 9 |
| Generate and execute test cases to ensure that the applications meet client specifications and appropriate level of quality while following accepted guidelines, tools methods and procedures established to ensure quality. This includes items listed below. | 9 |
| Experience with testing tool usage such as Mercury, Borland or Compuware, for logging, recording, and reporting on testing efforts. | 9 |

| Facilitation skills, to lead requirements elicitation workshops. | 9 |

| Minimum Qualifications |
| Demonstrated knowledge of terminology, usage, and operating characteristics of hardware, software, and operating system components that load, execute, store, and retrieve application programs/files and perform a variety of functions related to business information systems. |
| Demonstrated ability to define system solutions in comprehensive, quantitative, and qualitative terms to facilitate comparative analysis of alternative system solutions. |
| Demonstrated ability to plan and execute complex project plans Including work breakdown, resource estimates, activity planning, resource scheduling, negotiation of deliverables, project administration, and status reporting. |
| Working knowledge of complex business information system development and/or information technology tools, techniques, concepts and software applicable to the site supported. |
| Working knowledge of a defined, repeatable systems development methodology. "Defined" means stated in a medium that can be either read or viewed or both. "Both" allows for multimedia. |
| Must be able to coordinate the technical activities of others, and perform and coordinate the technical and project management activities of estimating and scheduling, planning work, advising others, and inspecting and evaluating products in order to produce quality finished projects/tasks in a timely manner. |
| Must be able to communicate technical information to others, expressing facts or ideas clearly, orally or in writing, when answering questions, giving directions, and providing information, individually or in groups. |
| Must be able to apply the knowledge of data processing systems to a business application environment. |
| Ability to problem solve creatively. |
