Position Title: Wily Services Consultant

Location: Open

 Duration: 6 months plus contract

Job Overview

 

This position is responsible for providing professional technical services to CA Wily customers across the range of CA Wily products, through the software lifecycle, providing optimized J2EE, Java, and .NET application monitoring, performance management, problem resolution, and mentoring.

 

 

Requirements

 

·         Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

·         5 plus years experience in the IT/Software industry, with a  minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in large scale J2EE/Java production environments.

·         Minimum of 2 years experience with at least one application server (WebSphere, WebLogic, JBoss, etc.).

·         Business travel of approximately 70 percent yearly is expected for this position.

·         Excellent problem solving skills.

·         Excellent analytical skills.

·         Ability to multi-task (e.g., handle multiple projects at once).

·         Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.

·         Deep knowledge and understanding of J2EE/Java concepts and techniques.

·         .NET experience helpful.

·         Good general knowledge of databases, networks, and operating systems.

·         Excellent communication, customer service, people skills, and project management.

·         Comfortable and adept at working independently at customer sites.

·         Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in presentations, to all levels of management.

·         Effectively communicates issues to management in a timely fashion.

·         Ability to work with and establish relationships with team members, pre-sales consultants, and product/project managers.

·         Ability to develop deployment designs that will be scalable in customer production environments across the range of CA Wily products.

 

Physical Demands

Business travel is required. Office environment. No special physical demands required
