Role Description:
Tech Environment:   .NET 2.0/3.5, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL Server 2008, AJAX / jQuery / JSON, XML, XSLT, XPath, Web Services, Telerik Controls, Flash, SubVersion, Visual Studio 2005/2010, ASP, LINQ, IIS  
 
Role Overview/s (role differs depending on position):

• Full lifecycle multi-tier development
• Mixture of new development and maintenance / enhancements (load and refine content)
• Asp.net using SQL 2008 backend, with vb.net as syntax
• AJAX and heavy jQuery for front-end development
• Application layer
• Heavy data and database work
• Apply tags to ensure XML format consistency
• URL writing, CSS, etc.. for search engine optimization
• Load Balanced IIS
• Clustered SQL
• Write stored procedures and format
• SubVersion for Source Control
• Building reusable search services and ensure data protection
• Software Testing
• 2-3 of the roles will be doing heavy XML, XSLT, and DTD work & using XSLT to re-shape XML

Requirements:

• 5+ yrs of .NET Development (vb.net OR C#, although vb.net will be used!)
• Full lifecycle development
• Solid Mid Tier and Data Development experience (Client has a solid group of GUI Developers in place)
• Background working with decent context sets
• Capable of doing some QA / software testing if needed would be a huge plus!
• Deep knowledge of XML (style sheets) would be a huge plus!
