Flex Developer
· Flash ActionScript - 3+ years (Solid hands on experience)
· Flex framework - 1+ years
· .NET or Java – 1+ Year
· Media Server (Wowza, Red5 or FIMS)
· PureMVC framework
Must have and be able to demonstrate hands on experience with Rational Performance Tester.
Must have knowledge of the basic measurements and metrics used in the design and implementation of performance tests.
Be able to describe the basic approach to performance testing of a Middleware application where no GUI is available to work against in the building of a test script.
Responsibilities:
Act as a mentor to the development team in the use of the RPT for this project.
Responsible for designing and implementing the test scenarios that will be used in this project. Will work with the Project Manager and Test Architect to achieve this deliverable.
Interfacing with the client SME to obtain the necessary test information for the successful conduct of the performance testing.
Prepare documentation for each test scenario which covers the pre test checklist, the parameters of the testing.
Analyze the results of the test execution and prepare a report on the test results, with any recommendations as to remedial efforts required.
Tutor the client in the use of the tool and the testing strategy. Ensuring that the client gains the necessary knowledge to be able to conduct performance tests on their own.
