· Expertise in QA and Developing of various web-based and Multi-tier applications.
· Expertise in analyzing Business Requirements or Functional Requirement Document, Use Case and Design Document and converting them into Test Cases.
· Extensive experience in Development, implementation and execution of Test Plans and Test Cases.
· Experienced in Functional, Performance, Integration, Regression, Smoke and End-to-End Testing.
· Analyzed and Reported Defects using Test Director, Quality Center, ClearQuest and Interacted well with developers and team members in fixing bugs.
· Hands-on experience using Mercury Interactive, QuickTest Pro with VBScript, Test Director & Quality Center.
· Expertise in test matrix to trace the Test Cases back to the Requirements.
· Extensively involved in Test Plan re-design, Test Case re-Creation, Test Automation and Test Execution of web and client server applications as per change request or any changes.
· Extensively involved in Functional, System, GUI, Unit, Integration, Regression, User Acceptance, Platform, Performance, Smoke, Stress and Load testing of web and client/server applications as required of methodology.
· Performed cross-browser Testing on Mozilla, Netscape & Internet Explorer and compare the results by running parallel tests
· Strong knowledge and experience in designing object oriented applications as well as database design for applications.
· Extensive experience in Quality Assurance methodologies and strategies with better understanding of SDLC or Waterfall, Agile and Scrum with SOA.
· Experience in all areas of manual software testing Data Validation and Verification, Functionality, System, Usability.
· Have a solid foundation for working on SQL Server Databases, Oracle and creating and optimizing Stored Procedures.
· Have good understanding and skill in .NET and Java and using web services.
· Experience in working on internet related technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, VBScript, XML, DHTML, CSS, XSLT, HTTP, and HTTPS.
· Understanding of TCP/IP networks at the protocol for Novell and Microsoft Client/Server. Worked on Databases like Oracle8i, 9i, 10g with PL/SQL, SQL Server 2000/2005/2008.
· Experience in Requirement Analysis, Solution Analysis and Designing Architecture for applications.
· Experienced in customizing existing software and solving logical problems.
· Ability to work in a team environment in an effective way.
· Ability to lead a group of developers/testers.
· Experienced in back-end database testing with Oracle, SQL Server and DB2.
· Experience SQL statements extensively to perform Database Migration Testing.
· Expert in using reporting tools for reporting bugs and prepare status report whenever required by team.
· Expertise in preparing weekly test reports.
· Experience with supervising and leading the team.
· Ability to work at any critical situation to solve the problem with expertise.
· Experienced in Test coordination between Client and Offshore team.
· Ability to interact with end users, also quick learner and team player with good communication skills.
· Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot.
· Good Analytical, Technical, Organizational skills coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Ability to work with OFFSHORE team effectively.
