Project Manager with Network Management Exp // San Jose CA // Long Term Contract

Candidates with telecom background preferred

 Required Qualifications
- Self Starter; Solid performer, doesn't need excessive direction, can assess needs and run with the PM end.
- Outstanding Communicator; Excellent written and oral communication and customer interaction skills.
- Excellent PM fundamentals; Intuitive at setting up meetings, then translating meeting discussions into meeting minutes, action items, timelines, and detailed project plans.
- Experienced PM; 5+ years leading large, complex network-related projects at communications service providers (SPs)
- Effective at customer facing status & communications (written & oral).
- PMI certified, or equivalent
- Strong MS Excel and Project experience.

Desired Qualifications

- Experience with large network rollout projects in a Service Provider environment. Ideally experienced with a Cisco project roll-out.
- Experience in managing a broad cross functional team through Planning, Design, and Implementation activities (including EF&I) to support the project.
