Position:  C# / Java Developer     --------------    Contract to hire is preferred

 

Duration:      6 months contract to hire or 12 month contract only

 

Location:         Torrance, CA

 

Rate:  DOE

 

Description:

We have a need for a contractor/contract to hire candidate that is well versed in C#, Java, ASP.NET, XML and a bit of SQL.

Specifically, we need a candidate that has had some experience with programming for custom type Business Process/ERP software.  The purpose is to evaluate an existing BP/ERP software and see if the same can be custom made for their environment.

Client's industry is such that there are no suitable "out of the box" solutions available to them.

There are several different parts/phases to their requirement and the progression would look something like this:

Consultation Phase: Will be doing an evaluation of an "out of the box" solution.  Need the programmer to evaluate and analyze to know if it would be feasible to develop a similar type of application from the ground up within a reasonable amount of time...if so, what resources would be needed?

Planning/Programming Phase: After reaching an agreement with the programmer in regard to the feasibility and scope of the project, they would proceed with planning and programming.

Testing/Deployment/Training Phase: Once the program has been created, the programmer would have a role in the final deployment.

Ongoing maintenance and module programming Phase: Self explanatory.
