As the Senior Systems Engineer, the potential individual for this position will work with a medium-sized team of engineers to support the operating system and technical foundation software for Microsoft Windows server in a highly disciplined, multi-Windows OS environment. In addition, the Senior Systems Engineer will be responsible for:
•          Process Improvements: Adopting industry best practices to continuously assess, develop, and improve infrastructure products and services
•          Incident Management/ Support and Maintenance: Manage the life cycle of incidents and support of foundation software.

Qualifications

5 - 10 years proven industry experience in IT infrastructure and Data Center Operations, with in-depth knowledge in all of the following:
•          Windows Server experience across multiple versions, including (but not limited to) Windows 2000, 2003, and 2008.
•          Experience in IIS 5, 6, 7.x with a good understanding of .NET troubleshooting and architecture.
•          Experience in VMware ESX & vSphere administration/configuration with good understanding of system troubleshooting and architecture.
•          Knowledge of large Citrix XenApp (Presentation Server) server environments, with emphasis on administration/configuration.
•          Good understanding of TCP/IP and basic networking skills.
Excellent technical skills are essential. Requires strong analytical and problem solving skills. Must be team oriented with the ability to communicate (written and verbal) to all audiences.
Bachelors or equivalent in related field preferred.
