Position : Senior presentation layer (Phone/Skype interview)

Location : 6 months

Duration : NYC

 

Responsibilities:

The role of Senior Presentation Layer Developer will entail developing presentation layer deliverables and working closely with the creative department to finalize designs and user experience.  The candidate must have a strong creative and design sense in order to work with the creative team.  They will work on various systems and technologies so must be comfortable working in a variety of development environments.  The qualified candidate will have the opportunity to work on various multi-channel campaigns for the web and mobile.  The Senior Presentation Layer Developer is expected to build experiences optimized for the search engine and large amounts of traffic. 

 

•             Responsible for executing through code complex designs that reflect the creative and art direction provided within the established technical framework

•             Development of presentation layer using HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and working on small server side functionality

•             Works well as a team member

•             Able to shift between a creative and a technical focus depending on the project need and/or the type of project

•             Establish presentation layer requirements through working closely with Creative and User Experience teams

•             Many projects will be small fast paced campaigns.

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

•             At least 4+ years experience in D/XHTML, JavaScript, and CSS a must

•             Experience with Javascript frameworks such as JQuery, AJAX  is a must

•             Experience with XML, DTD, DOM

•             Expertise developing and testing across multiple browsers, platforms, DOM implementations, etc.

•             Experience with OOP, MVC, Web Services

•             Experience with any Analytics Solutions

•             Ability to code designs down to the pixel

•             Knowledgeable of cross domain restrictions

•             Demonstrated ability to accurately estimate and scope development work

•             Strong attention to detail.
