Sr. Java Developer

Kansas City

6 months plus

$45/hour

 

Client is currently hiring a Senior Java / Oracle Developer to join our team in Kansas City. This position is part of our Software Solutions group. 

Required:

• 7+ years' experience in Java programming language utilizing an Oracle Database on Unix based servers

• Working knowledge of Apache web server configuration and maintenance 

• Ability to work independently or under supervision of Engineering Lead 

• Ability to adapt and pick up new techniques and technology 

• Ability to multi-task

Preferred:

• Understanding of wide area networking with focus on routing and switching

• Experience with wide area networking with focus on routing and switching 

• Ability to work independently or under supervision of Engineering Lead 

• Metro Ethernet experience a plus 

• Wireless industry experience
